Ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Lobi Stars have decided to adopt Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi as their home ground, according to report by BSNSports.
The Pride of Benue played their home games last season at the New Jos Stadium in Jos. Despite the challenge of playing away from their traditional home, Lobi Stars managed to produce some of the best home results in the league.
With their original home ground in Makurdi still under renovation, the club’s management has chosen Bauchi as their new base for the upcoming season. This strategic decision aims to maintain the team’s strong home performance as they strive for greater success.
Lobi Stars concluded last season in 6th position, demonstrating resilience and adaptability despite not playing in their familiar surroundings. The club and its supporters will be hopeful that the move to Bauchi will provide a stable and supportive environment for the team as they aim to climb higher in the NPFL standings.
