The Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, is fully prepared to host the 8th National Youth Games, scheduled to take place from 9th to 19th September 2024. The stadium has undergone significant upgrades, with new facilities installed to ensure a smooth and successful event.
Chief Solomon Ogba, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, confirmed that all logistical arrangements have been finalised, paving the way for what promises to be a memorable edition of the games. Delta State is eager to welcome young athletes from across the nation to compete at this prestigious event, which is seen as a key platform for nurturing sporting talent in Nigeria.
Among the teams set to participate is Team Bauchi, which is brimming with confidence after a strong showing at the North-East Zonal eliminations. The team is determined to showcase the “Bauchi Agenda,” aiming for continued success at the national level.
