Jovanović, a 62-year-old Serbian coach, took charge after leaving Panathinaikos and has since overseen a perfect start to his tenure.
His impressive record began with a 3-0 victory over Finland, followed by two back-to-back 2-0 wins over Ireland, and a remarkable 2-1 triumph against England. This 100% win rate not only reflects Jovanović’s ability to revitalise the Greek side but also positions Greece as a formidable force in their UEFA Nations League campaign.
Jovanović, a highly experienced coach with a UEFA Pro Licence, has managed various clubs, including Al-Nasr and APOEL Nicosia, achieving success in both domestic and international competitions.
