House Of Representatives Mourns The Passing Of Elijah Olaluyi.
The House of Representatives has expressed deep sadness over the death of Mr. Elijah Olaluyi, a respected member of the House Press Corps, who passed away at the age of 62 after a brief illness.
In a statement, Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Kalu, praised Olaluyi for his dedication and professionalism in covering the activities of the House. “Until his death Thursday evening, Olaluyi covered the activities of the House of Representatives with zeal and professional integrity,” Kalu noted.
The House has extended its prayers for the repose of Olaluyi’s soul, offering comfort to his family, colleagues at New Telegraph, the House of Representatives Press Corps (HoRPC), the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and all who knew him.
Olaluyi’s passing leaves a significant void in the press community, where his commitment to journalistic excellence will be fondly remembered.
