Renowned gospel singer and founder of Spotlite Nation, Moses Bliss, has finally addressed the premature departure of former signee, Ebuka Songs.
Bliss revealed that Ebuka Songs violated a three-year contract by leaving after just 11 months.
During a press conference at The Experience 2024 music concert, where both artists performed independently, Bliss clarified that there are no issues between him and Ebuka Songs. He stated that Ebuka simply wanted to pursue his music independently.
“Our contract didn’t end when it was supposed to end. It was a three-year contract, but he left after 11 months, saying he wanted to do his music alone,” Bliss explained. “I prayed about it and decided to let him go.”
Despite the early exit, Bliss expressed his support for Ebuka Songs, emphasizing that their goal is to spread the gospel. “We hold no grudge against him. I love him and am happy to have been part of his journey. I wish him the best,” Bliss said.
Bliss also acknowledged the impact of Ebuka Songs’ departure on Spotlite Nation. “It was a challenge, but God has been faithful. We’ve moved forward, and our mission remains the same – to give people the opportunity to minister the gospel.”
