President Tinubu Returns To Abuja After Working Visits To France And The United Kingdom.
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a series of private and official engagements in France and the United Kingdom. The President, who departed Nigeria on 2 April, arrived back in the capital on Monday, 21 April 2025, as earlier confirmed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
During his time abroad, President Tinubu undertook a short working visit to France, where he assessed the mid-term performance of his administration. The visit also served as an opportunity to review ongoing reforms and evaluate progress across various sectors.
In addition to appraising the administration’s achievements so far, the President used the retreat to engage in strategic planning ahead of his government’s second anniversary. While away, he remained actively involved in governance, staying in constant communication with his team and overseeing key state matters remotely.
Now back in the country, President Tinubu is expected to resume duties immediately at the State House in Abuja, continuing with the day-to-day running of government and furthering the implementation of national policies and programmes.
His return marks a renewed momentum as Nigeria approaches the second half of Tinubu’s first term in office, with citizens and stakeholders looking forward to sustained reforms and measurable national progress.
