Adebayor has tipped Nigeria to win the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
Adebayor the former Manchester City and Arsenal striker visited the Super Eagles players in the dressing room to congratulate them after their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal 1-0 win over Angola on Friday.
The Togolese interacted with the likes of Kenneth Omeruo and Paul Onuachu.
Nigeria secured qualifications into the semi-final thanks to a first-half goal from Ademola Lookman which gave Jose Peseiro’s men the ticket against Angola.
Moses Simon, who won the Man of the Match award, provided Lookman with the assist.
