We work on each match differently. He taught me to have a good attitude. Sometimes, he thought I was a bit soft in training so he asked me to be meaner. In fact, he wants the players to be afraid when he sees me,” Saliba shared with a smile. “He was always honest with me, even when he didn’t want me to play. And when he thought I deserved it, he told me so.”
Saliba, known for his humility, confidently stated his position among the league’s elite defenders. “I think I am in the top 3 central defenders in the Premier League, yes. I am a humble person, but last year, like this year, I am in the top 3 of best defenders.”
