The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has threatened to boycott their meeting with the Federal Government on Monday (today) if the Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, shows up. The labour bodies are expected to meet again with the federal government to review the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding they signed on subsidy removal palliatives. Marseille’s Ligue 1 match with Lyon has been called off after OL’s team bus was attacked and manager Fabio Grosso injured. The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has said his country is working with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), to provide cheap electricity to member states.
