The joint bid ran unopposed after Turkey withdrew to focus on a bid with Italy for Euro 2032, which was also confirmed at a meeting in Switzerland. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed three more banks for the collection of fees under the Nigerian Export Supervision Scheme (NESS). The banks are Coronation Merchant Bank Limited, Paralex Bank Limited and Lotus Bank. The appointment was approved by the minister of finance, budget and national planning. “Consequently, all authorised dealers are therefore enjoined to bring the information to the attention of the exporting customers,” a circular signed by W.J. The Government of Lagos State has suspended its planned mass burial of the 103 corpses recovered in the wake of the October 2020 #EndSARS protest. The Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari, has announced that Nigeria will begin exporting petroleum products to other countries in 2024. Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, on Monday, said the administration of President Bola Tinubu has not reinstated fuel subsidy. This is despite the confirmation of oil marketers that the federal government has restored subsidy for premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol.
