BBNaija’s Tacha Reveals Why She Relocated Abroad

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha, has opened up about her decision to relocate to the United Kingdom.

In a recent chat with British media personality Madame Joyce, Tacha disclosed that she had “conquered” the Nigerian market and was seeking new opportunities.

“I relocated to the UK because I have conquered the whole of the Nigerian market,” Tacha stated. “Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean I’m not going to do Nigerian deals. If the offer is good, why not?”

Tacha also shared her thoughts on the influencing scene in Nigeria, stating that while it may appear lucrative, the reality is far from it. “The influencing scene in Nigeria looks so beautiful, but behind the scenes, it’s not as beautiful as it seems because the money is poor,” she explained.

Tacha cited the example of being paid N6 million (approximately $3,000) for a six-month influencing deal, which she felt was inadequate considering the current economic climate. “The fee was the same when I left the Big Brother Naija show in 2019, but it made sense then. At least, you could book a plane ticket with it. But right now, $3,000 is nothing.”
