Super Eagles Draw Tunisia, Uganda, And Tanzania In AFCON 2025 Group Stage.

The Nigerian national football team, popularly known as the Super Eagles, have been drawn into Group C for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, set to be hosted in Morocco.

The draw was announced in a ceremony some moments ago, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling tournament. Nigeria will face off against Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in their group. Here’s how the groups shape up:

The Super Eagles, with their rich history in the tournament, are set to take on a tricky group. Tunisia, a major threat in African football, will provide a stern test, while Uganda and Tanzania are not to be underestimated, having shown significant improvement in recent years.

 

Nigeria’s newly appointed coach Éric Chelle, whose strategies will be pivotal, commented, “We respect all our opponents. Each team in our group has the potential to surprise on any given day, but we will be preparing meticulously to ensure we top our group.”
