Dortmund’s victory not only marked their first win at Bayern in a decade but also bolstered their bid for a top-four finish. They currently sit three points clear of fifth-placed RB Leipzig, enhancing their prospects for Champions League qualification.
The match also featured the return of Harry Kane, Bayern’s leading scorer this season, from injury.
