Bayern Munich Manager Tuchel Unmoved by Fan Petition
Thomas Tuchel, the current Bayern Munich boss, remains firm in his decision to step down at the end of the season, despite a petition signed by over 12,000 supporters urging him to stay.
The petition emerged following Bayern’s announcement in February that Tuchel would leave the club, with one year remaining on his contract.
While acknowledging the support from fans, Tuchel emphasized that his focus remains solely on football in the final days of the season.
“I appreciate the sentiment from the fans, but my priority right now is football,” stated Tuchel. “I cannot allow external factors to influence my decisions. My focus is on the upcoming matches, and I am committed to delivering the best results for Bayern Munich.”
Amidst speculation about his successor, including talks with Ralf Rangnick, Tuchel reiterated that the club’s leadership will handle the appointment process.
He emphasized his intention to remain focused and unaffected by outside noise as Bayern approaches the end of the season.
