CAFCC: USM Algiers Coach Confident of Victory Against Rivers United on Sunday
Juan Carlos Garrido, the head coach of Algeria’s USM Algiers, has expressed unwavering confidence in his team’s ability to defeat Rivers United on Sunday.
Despite suffering a narrow defeat to the Nigerian representative at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium, Garrido emphasized during a press conference on Saturday that USM Algiers is fully prepared to defend their title in the upcoming match.
“We are ready to beat them on Sunday and continue to defend our title. Together, we will achieve glory,” Garrido affirmed.
USM Algiers faces the challenge of scoring at least two goals without reply to progress into the semi-finals of the competition, setting the stage for an intense and determined showdown on the field.
