Chijioke Mbaoma Crowned Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Season.
Chijioke Mbaoma has been honoured with the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Player of the Season award. The 21-year-old Enyimba striker received the accolade at the League Bloggers Award ceremony held in Lagos.
Mbaoma enjoyed a stellar 2023-24 season, scoring 18 goals and playing a crucial role in helping Enyimba secure a CAF Confederation Cup slot on the final day of the season. His impressive performances saw him beat off stiff competition from Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars and Albert Hilary of Plateau United.
The young forward’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, as he is currently attracting interest from top clubs abroad. With his future looking bright, Mbaoma’s recognition as the NPFL Player of the Season marks a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.
