Justice has been served with the release of Comfort Emmanson, an Ibom Air passenger accused of unruly behaviour and assault, after a magistrate court in Ikeja, Lagos, discharged her on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The decision came following an application by the prosecution to withdraw the case, marking a swift resolution to the incident that unfolded on an Ibom Air flight on August 10.
The case, which had drawn public attention, saw Emmanson arraigned on Monday and remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre after failing to meet her N500,000 bail conditions.
