Federal Fire Service Heroics Save ₦200M In Abuja Fire.
On Tuesday, 12 August 2025, the Federal Fire Service, based at its National Headquarters, showcased remarkable bravery and efficiency in tackling a fire at Garki 2 Divisional Police Station in Abuja. Led by Senior Fireman Agbo, the team successfully protected property valued at over ₦200 million from a blaze sparked by an electrical surge.
The fire, which threatened significant damage, was swiftly brought under control using CO₂ extinguishers. The crew’s rapid response was followed by meticulous salvage operations to ensure no re-ignition occurred. Their professionalism earned high praise from the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Mohammed Amadu, who commended their skill and dedication.
