Coach Finidi George of Enyimba and the Assistant coach of the Super Eagles while reacting to the loss of the Super Eagles against Cote d’Ivoire last night said he feels sad
Finidi George when asked about being on the losing end in two separate occasions first as a player and now as a Coach.
Recall The Enyimba head coach,was an integral part of the AFCON 2000 set that lost to Cameroon as a player and now In 2023, he is an assistant coach of the team that lost to Ivory Coast.
Coach George told Journalist, about how he feels losing on two different occasions: “it’s painful to lose out on the gold medal in both occasions I feel sad”.
However he wouldn’t stop believing the major honour would come soon.
He likewise mentioned that the team would learn from what went wrong and seek to improve in subsequent competitions.
