Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has broken two box office records with her latest project, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”.
The movie has emerged as the biggest opening weekend in Nollywood history, and has also been named the biggest weekend of all time.
According to reports, “Everybody Loves Jenifa” raked in N206 million at the cinema. Funke Akindele took to social media to share the good news with her fans, thanking God and appreciating the support of Nigerians.
Her colleague, Odunlade Adekola, also reposted the news on Instagram, appreciating God and Nigerians for the success. This is not the first time Funke Akindele has recorded huge success at the cinema, as her 2023 movie “Battle on Buka Street” also achieved great success.
