Vincent Kompany has hit back at suggestions that the Bayern Munich managerial role would be “too big” for him, offering a powerful response rooted in his personal journey. In a candid statement, Kompany said: “I was born in Brussels, my dad was a refugee from Congo. What are my chances of even playing in the Premier League, winning something as a player, or representing my national team? The odds were 0.000 something. Now I’m a coach.”
