Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Lasisi Elenu (real name: Nosa Afolabi), and his wife Nonso Adika have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

The couple announced the joyous news on Thursday, October 23, 2025, through a heartfelt post on social media, featuring a picture of their newborn’s feet.

In his post, Lasisi Elenu revealed their son’s full name: River Elroi Adédáminì Adewunmi Nosagie Anyalewechi Afolabi. He shared a Bible verse from John 7:38 (NLT), which reads, “Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within them,” explaining that “River” symbolizes life, abundance, renewal, and God’s unending grace flowing through them.

The couple’s choice of the name “River” has sparked conversations online, with many netizens playfully referring to the newborn as an “NSPPD baby,” drawing connections to the popular Nigerian prayer movement known for its emphasis on divine blessings and breakthroughs. Some users humorously speculated about future names for potential siblings, such as “Ocean” and “Thunder,” while others expressed admiration for the unique and meaningful name.

Lasisi Elenu and Nonso Adika tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Rain, later that year. The couple’s growing family continues to capture the hearts of their fans, who have flooded their social media posts with congratulatory messages and well wishes.

The comedian’s lighthearted approach to parenting, often infused with humor and creativity, has endeared him to a wide audience. His recent announcement adds to the joy of his followers, who eagerly anticipate more updates and content from the growing Afolabi family.

As Lasisi Elenu and Nonso Adika embark on this new chapter of parenthood, their fans continue to celebrate their happiness and the arrival of baby River Elroi, a symbol of life, love, and divine blessings.
