The stage is gradually getting set for a new Golden Boy to emerge to succeed the current holder, Jude Bellingham – Real Madrid player.
The next winner will be named on December 17 in Turin.
In build-up to having a new winner, a 20-man shortlist for the 2024 “Golden Boy Award” was released on Thursday evening.
Kobbie Mainoo – Manchester United, Lamine Yamal – Barcelona, and Savinho Girona – Manchester City, are some of the names on the list.
Golden Boy Award is a once in a lifetime event handed to the best player under 21 years of age, since no one can be 21 years twice.
