Nigerian rapper Ycee has fallen victim to fraud , losing over N2 million from his account.
This is not the first time the rapper has experienced such an incident.
According to Ycee, the transactions included withdrawals of N1 million, another N1 million, and N700,000, all made using his Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card.
Ycee has expressed dissatisfaction with his bank’s response to the incident, stating that they have not provided an explanation for how his money will be refunded. He argued that if the theft occurred at an ATM, CCTV cameras would have captured the incident.
In light of this experience, Ycee has called for a ban on Point of Sale (POS) systems in Nigeria, believing that many people have fallen victim to similar incidents.
