Rhodes-Vivour Launches ‘Our Lagos’ App To Empower Residents.
Former Lagos State Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has unveiled a new mobile application, Our Lagos, aimed at providing economic opportunities and policy information for residents of the state.
Speaking at the launch event, which marked the second anniversary of the 2023 general elections, Rhodes-Vivour reflected on the election’s challenges, citing reports of voter suppression and violence documented by both local and international observers. However, he emphasised that his focus remains on empowering Lagosians beyond politics.
The Our Lagos app offers access to grants, skills development programmes, job opportunities, and insights into Rhodes-Vivour’s policy proposals for the state. He described the initiative as a practical step towards improving lives, stating:
“This is not about politics as usual. It’s about demonstrating a different approach to leadership – one centred on service, accountability, and genuinely improving lives. These grants aren’t handouts – they’re investments in your potential, in your dreams, and in our collective future.”
With this initiative, Rhodes-Vivour aims to foster economic growth and social empowerment, reinforcing his vision of a more inclusive and prosperous Lagos.
