Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has urged African governments to ban Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the UK’s Conservative Party, from entering Africa.
This comes after Badenoch’s remarks about Nigeria, where she described her upbringing as being overshadowed by fear and insecurity due to corruption.
Badenoch has been accused of denigrating Nigeria, but she has stood by her position. Kuti reacted strongly, stating that Badenoch has been insulting Africans and their ancestors.
