The match, scheduled for 17 July, will serve as the Super Falcons’ final test before they depart for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The NFF shared the news via their official X platform, stating: “Our Super Falcons will be taking on reigning Olympic champions Canada in a closed-door friendly on 17 July as a final test before flying to France for the Olympics!”
This match will be the only warm-up fixture for the Super Falcons ahead of the Olympics. The two teams last faced each other in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where they battled to a 0-0 draw.
