Sweden Call Up Evelyn Ijeh for Upcoming Matches.
Former Super Falcons invitee, Evelyn Ijeh, has received a call-up to the Swedish Women’s National Team ahead of their matches against France and England next month.
Evelyn, who is currently on loan at AC Milan from Liga MX Femenil club Tigres UANL, is anticipated to make her long-awaited debut if selected for either game.
The daughter of former Super Eagles striker Peter Ijeh, Evelyn was invited to join the Super Falcons in 2021 and participated in a training camp in Austria with the nine-time African champions.
Evelyn began her career with Swedish side IFK Göteborg, making her debut in a match against Hammarby Fotboll. She has represented Sweden at various youth levels, including U-17 and U-19, and captained the U-23 team before earning her senior national team call-up.
Evelyn will be looking forward to her potential debut and the impact she will bring to the Swedish national team.
