Following their first win in the WAFU Zone B Under-17 Championship, Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets head coach Garba Manu has set his sights on securing a crucial victory in their final group game. The Nigerian team defeated Mena of Niger 1-0 to move to second place in the group, trailing only Burkina Faso.
In their upcoming match, the Golden Eaglets will face the Young Sparrow of Togo on Wednesday, a must-win game to advance to the final round of the championship.
“We will have to beat them on Wednesday; they are a good side, and we will not underrate them,” Coach Manu said, emphasizing the importance of the match.

Nigeria should have scored three goals against Niger. So, we hope that the players will convert their chances against Togo,” he added.
