Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has spoken out about the devastating impact of his death rumors on his family.
In June, a false report of Quadri’s passing spread like wildfire, causing widespread concern among his fans and loved ones.
Quadri, who quickly debunked the rumor on his Instagram page, has now revealed the emotional toll it took on his family. In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, the 65-year-old actor expressed his disappointment with the individuals responsible for spreading the false news.
“The development caused my family unnecessary stress and anxiety,” Quadri revealed. “My children, who are overseas, were troubled by the news. Despite our regular communication, they were still worried and kept calling to confirm my well-being.”
Quadri’s family was understandably shaken by the false report, with his children calling him repeatedly to check on his safety. The actor, however, has chosen to leave the perpetrators of the rumor to God’s judgment.
