Lagos Liga Returns With Thriling Preseason Tournament

The buzz is back in the city as the highly anticipated Lagos Liga makes its grand return with an exhilarating preseason tournament. Football fans, players, and enthusiasts alike are gearing up for a spectacle of skill, speed, and strategy as teams prepare for the 2025 season, and it’s going to be bigger and badder than ever!

The preseason tournament kicks off tomorrow, November 19th, at the UNILAG Sports Complex, from 1 PM to 3 PM, featuring exciting clashes between Jarus FC, Courteville FC, Knights FC, and Elite FC. These teams are set to battle it out in a showcase of talent, tactical play, and sheer determination as they fine-tune their squads ahead of the new season.

This year’s Lagos Liga matches will be hosted at two premier venues: the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, and the UNILAG Sports Complex, offering fans world-class facilities to enjoy every thrilling moment. From fast-paced matches and stunning goals to surprising upsets, the preseason tournament promises to deliver unforgettable football action.

Beyond the on-field excitement, Lagos Liga continues to champion grassroots football, community engagement, and youth development. Side events, including coaching clinics, skills challenges, and outreach programs, will run alongside the tournament, further highlighting the league’s mission to nurture local talent and grow football culture in Lagos.
