Senate President Godswill Akpabio has tasked the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) to seek ways of deepening the consumption of locally produced petroleum products. Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has urged the Federal Government to use Nigeria’s diplomatic links with Finland to extradite Biafran agitator Simon Ekpa, whom the military has charged with instigating the unrest in the Southeast. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has granted bail to former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele. He was granted bail in the sum of N300 million. Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, said the FCT Administration has pegged the cost of issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) at N5 million. Wike made the pronouncement at a meeting with estate developers in Abuja on Tuesday.
