President Bola Tinubu-led government has denied extending the stay of recalled ambassadors across the world. President Tinubu had on the 2nd  of September, 2023 recalled all Nigeria’s ambassadors, both career and non-career. They were asked to return to the country on or before October 31, 2023. The recall was communicated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar. The appointment of the new Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye has been upturned by the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ogbomoso. GOVIMA had earlier reported that the Oyo State Government on the 8th of September, 2023, announced Pastor Ghandi Olaoye as the new Soun and made him king. Recall that on September 2, President Bola Tinubu recalled all Nigeria’s ambassadors, and asked them to return to the country on or before October 31. The Wazirin Fika, Alhaji Adamu Fika, has passed away at the age of 90. The elder statesman had been in the United Kingdom, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment before he was returned to Nigeria not long ago. The Kremlin has officially denied an internet report which claimed President Vladimir Putin suffered a heart attack. “There is nothing wrong with him. As usual, this is a hoax,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, according to local media reports.
