The Ekiti State Government has approved the disbursement of another tranche of car loans to the tune of N136,260,000 for 368 civil servants. This was disclosed by Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development Akin Oyebode, who confirmed that Governor Biodun Oyebanji approved the injection of N200 million into the loan scheme. Oyebode disclosed that the governor also approved the payment of N174,394,176.88 in outstanding deductions from salaries to cooperative societies and the Federal Mortgage Bank. Mark Zuckerberg’s social media company, Meta, has revealed that Facebook’s daily average users (DAUs) increased by 5% year on year to 2.09 billion in September this year. Meta disclosed this in its earnings report for Q3 2023. According to the report, all the family of apps owned by the company, which include WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and most recently, Threads, had total daily average users of 3.14 billion as of September, which was 7% growth year on year.
