The House of Representatives has rejected a motion seeking to compel examination bodies such as JAMB, WAEC and NECO to register students free of charge for the 2023-2024 examination. The Sokoto State Election Petition Tribunal has ruled in favor of Aminu Tambuwal, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), upholding his victory as the duly elected Senator for Sokoto South Senatorial District.
