President Muhammadu Buhari has apologized to Nigerians over the naira redesign policy. According to him, it wasn’t introduced to cause hardship, but to boost the economy. The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has condemned a member of the House of Representatives, Ado Doguwa for allegedly mobilising thugs who killed innocent people in Kano state. The Independent National Electoral Commission has so far uploaded 147,578 results from 176, 846 polling units, five days after the presidential election.
