President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on his 81st birthday. Buhari appreciated Adeboye for his friendliness and wise counsel during his visits. The president rejoiced with Adeboye for abandoning his academic career and opting to serve God. The President’s remark was contained in a statement signed by his spokesman, Femi Adesina. The President expressed thanks for Adeboye’s positive influence on people and institutions, with a focus on expanding the kingdom of God on earth. President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Maiduguri as part his one-day official visit to Borno to inaugurate a 50-Megawatts Power Plant and other viable projects executed by the state government. The Independent National Electoral Commission has so far uploaded 147,578 results from 176, 846 polling units, five days after the presidential election. The figure represents 83 per cent of results from all the polling units. As of the time of filing this report, the electronic transmission of results was still ongoing.
