The presidential candidate of the Progressives Congress (APC) , Bola Tinubu, has urged Lagos residents to avoid any act of violence as the results of the presidential election trickle in. Prof. Simeon Adebayo Oladipo, the Senatorial Returning Officer, announced Abiru as the winner on Monday in Lagos. Former federal lawmaker, Dino Melaye, has challenged the result of the Ekiti State presidential election and wants it cancelled immediately. Presenting his observation at the commencement of the collation of results at the International Conference Centre, Abuja on Monday, Melaye, who is the agent of the Peoples Democratic Party, raised observations on alleged over-voting. Though Tinubu won more local government areas, Obi defeated him with most of the votes. All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared.
