The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Abdullahi Adamu has lost the presidential election in his Angwarimi Ward, GRA A1, LERCEST Office in Keffi, Nasarawa State to the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi. Obi won the unit after polling 132 votes, while the APC got 85 votes for the second position. The National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has said the collation of results will start on Sunday. The chairman disclosed this Saturday while giving updates on the voting process nationwide. He also said this was the first time that the general election was not postponed since 2011. The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, was on Saturday, unable to cast vote at his polling unit 7, Ward 9, Wimpey Junction, Rumuepirikom, Port Harcourt, Rivers State as the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System network failed.
