Despite his hard work and dedication to his craft, AY feels that men are more willing to support women than their fellow brothers.
In a candid post on his X handle, AY wrote: “One day, men will tell men ‘what did we do to deserve this?’ We work tirelessly to stay relevant and provide for our families. Must we have breasts and curves to earn the support of our fellow men?”
AY also made a startling claim, stating that he is the only male Nigerian filmmaker who has not given up on his dreams due to lack of support.
