A controversy has erupted after Ossai Success, an aide to the Delta State Governor, publicly criticized Nollywood actor Charles Okocha over his wife’s attire at a recent award ceremony.
According to reports, Charles’ wife wore a striking green cut-out dress that accentuated her toned physique and washboard abs. However, the outfit sparked backlash from Ossai, who described it as “half-naked”.
Ossai expressed disappointment in Charles for allowing his wife to wear the outfit, arguing that a married woman should exhibit modesty in her public dressing. He believed the attire was more fitting for an “undisciplined single woman”.
The aide also suggested that Charles should have exercised more control over his wife’s outfit choice, stating that allowing such outfits signaled a lack of control in the home.
