Enyimba FC of Aba, Nigeria’s sole remaining representative in CAF’s Inter-Club Championships, played out a thrilling 0-0 draw against Burkina Faso’s Etoile Filante in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup second-round tie. The match, held in Bamako on Friday, saw both sides battle hard but neither able to break the deadlock.
The encounter marks the second time Enyimba have faced Etoile Filante, and the Nigerian giants remain unbeaten against all their Burkinabe opponents.
