The Federal Polytechnic Offa, located in Kwara State, has been officially designated as the host institution for the 2024 Nigerian Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA).
The confirmation came through a letter awarding the hosting rights, addressed to the school’s rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, and signed by Mas’ud Elelu, the Secretary General of the Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria.
“At the COHEADS meeting held on February 27th, 2024, the Council resolved to grant your institution the hosting rights for NIPOGA 2024,” the letter stated.
In response to this announcement, the Rector expressed appreciation to COHEADS and the NIPOGA council for bestowing the Federal Polytechnic Offa with the hosting rights for the first time in its history.
Mrs. Esther Folake Oyinloye, the Head of the Public Relations Unit, extended congratulations to the Rector, the management team, and the entire Polytechnic community.
