Galatasaray Chief Confirms Victor Osimhen’s Deal Has No Exit Clause

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has confirmed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s contract with the Turkish champions does not contain any release clause.

The club leader made this known while addressing reporters during a sponsorship event in Istanbul, emphasizing that Osimhen remains a vital part of their long-term project.

According to Özbek, the decision not to include a release clause was intentional to protect the club’s investment and ensure stability within the team. “Osimhen’s contract does not have any exit clause. He is an extremely successful player who will serve Galatasaray for many years,” the president said confidently.

The Nigerian forward joined Galatasaray earlier this year after leaving Napoli in a record transfer that attracted huge attention across Europe. At the time, the reported fee raised debates among fans, but Özbek maintained that the deal was worth every euro spent. “Perhaps some people felt the transfer amount was high, but today, many in the football community agree the fee was low compared to his true value,” he added.

The club’s management stressed that transparency remains a key part of their transfer policy. Özbek explained that all player contracts at Galatasaray comply fully with the Turkish Football Federation, UEFA, and FIFA regulations, ensuring that every detail of the agreement is open and legitimate.

Osimhen has already impressed with his performances in the Turkish Super Lig and European competitions, scoring crucial goals that have helped the team stay at the top of their league table. His consistency and leadership on the pitch have made him one of the most admired foreign players in Turkey this season.

With this confirmation, Galatasaray has sent a strong signal to potential suitors that the 26-year-old striker is not available for an easy transfer. The club believes Osimhen’s presence will continue to inspire success and attract more global attention to Turkish football.
