The Lagos State Government has initiated an Online Payment and Registration process for the Screening Test into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools for the upcoming 2024/2025 Academic Session.
A press release issued by Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, disclosed that the registration process has officially commenced and will run until May 11, 2024.
The information is directed to parents, guardians, and school owners who are eager to secure placements for their children in these esteemed educational institutions.
To ensure a smooth registration experience, Orunsolu has urged every interested person to adhere strictly to the guidelines and procedures outlined on the official portal, examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng. Prospective candidates are required to access the portal and click on the “SCREENING TEST/MODEL COLLEGE” button to commence the registration process.
It is important to note that only primary six pupils from both public and private schools are eligible to register for the entrance examination, with a registration fee of #10,000 per candidate. This fee covers the cost of conducting the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which is scheduled to take place from May 28 to May 31, 2024, across various designated centers throughout the state.
