Actors Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors revealed their engagement at the 2024 Ebony Power 100 List event in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The couple shared their excitement on the red carpet, with Meagan showcasing her engagement ring.
Interestingly, the Ebony Power 100 event holds special significance for the couple, as it’s where they first met – in the unisex bathroom. “This is where our journey began,” Meagan said.
Meagan was previously married to DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2021. She and Jonathan started dating in May 2023. Earlier this year, Meagan opened up about supporting Jonathan through his challenges, including his recent legal issues.
In December 2023, Jonathan was found guilty of third-degree assault and harassment following a March 2023 arrest. He was sentenced to domestic violence counseling, mental health therapy, and a permanent protective order.
Despite the controversy, Meagan has stood by Jonathan. The couple’s engagement announcement sparks a new chapter in their relationship.
