Finidi George Appointed as New Technical Manager of Rivers United FC.
Rivers United Football Club has announced the appointment of Finidi George as their new Technical Manager. This confirms the report by Govima Sports which was released last month.
Finidi George, a former Nigerian international, football legend and Coach brings a wealth of experience to the club. Known for his exceptional playing career, which included stints at Ajax and Real Betis, George’s appointment is a significant step for Rivers United as they aim to build on their recent successes.

Finidi George who recently had a stint as the head coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria after leading Enyimba FC to the win the NPFL, came under heavy criticism due to the poor showing of the Super Eagles in the last qualifying round of matches for the FIFA World Cup.
However the 52 year old has now put all that behind him and looks set to begin a new chapter in the South of the country with the Port Harcourt based club.
