Tinubu’s Shake-Up Of Service Chiefs Shows He’s Ready For Results – Ogba

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Victor Ogba, has commended President Bola Tinubu for reshuffling the nation’s service chiefs, describing the move as a strong indication that the President is fully committed to restoring security and stability across Nigeria.

Ogba said the decision reflects Tinubu’s readiness to deliver results and hold his appointees accountable for the nation’s safety and progress.

Speaking with journalists on Friday, Ogba noted that the shake-up was not just a routine exercise but a strategic step toward improving coordination among security agencies. He explained that the changes became necessary following the slow progress in tackling insecurity in parts of the country. According to him, Tinubu’s decision “shows he is serious about addressing insecurity and unwilling to tolerate any form of complacency among the service chiefs.”

Ogba further stated that the President’s move demonstrates decisive leadership and the courage to make tough calls for the benefit of the nation. He said, “President Tinubu’s bold action sends a message that performance will now be the standard for leadership within the security sector. Nigerians can now expect a more coordinated and proactive response to the challenges of banditry, insurgency, and other criminal activities.”

Highlighting the importance of the reshuffle, Ogba stressed that Nigeria’s security challenges require a renewed and dynamic approach. He said the new appointments would strengthen collaboration between the armed forces, intelligence units, and law enforcement agencies, ensuring that no region is left vulnerable. He added that the new structure would promote efficiency and accountability in the nation’s fight against insecurity.

The APC stalwart also commended President Tinubu for other reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy, especially the policies that led to the country’s removal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list. He said the administration’s efforts show that Nigeria is regaining the confidence of the international community through strong economic and governance reforms.

Ogba called on Nigerians to continue supporting the government’s security and economic agenda, noting that progress can only be achieved when citizens and leaders work together. He expressed optimism that with the recent changes in the nation’s military leadership, the era of excuses would soon end, paving the way for a more secure and united country.
