The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi has arrived in PU 019, Umudimakasi Square, Agulu, Anambra State, for the presidential election. Obi spoke upon arrival at his polling unit, expressing optimism of victory at the polls. Asked about his chances of winning the election, the former Anambra State governor said: “I am very optimistic. You can see the positive mood among my people. “People are coming out to vote to make sure the Labour Party wins.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has postponed the Enugu East Senatorial election earlier scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday February 25, 2023. The cancellation was sequel to the murder of the Labour Party candidate for the election, Barr. Oyibo Chukwu.
